Hey there,

I know you’re probably asking yourself “Who is Tru Kings & what can they do for me?” I will take a few moments to give you a run down of who we are, what we do and what we are about.

Tru Kings as a company that was founded by my brother Khalyil and I in 2002 .It originated from a school assignment Khalyil had written up with the name Tru Kings in it. There the business was born. We started by selling clothes and shoes. Khalyil and I are genuine salesmen; we would sell the shoes off our feet and the shirts off our back to “Make that sale”… yah we really did. One night Khalyil approached me and said “I rap why don’t we sell my CDs?” from that Tru Kings Records was born. We launched mix tape after mix tape. We organized our own parties and shows, most of the time it was out of our own house, ‘til that started getting out of hand, then we evolved to clubs and then to renting our own loft. Now that Khayil is known throughout the City as Solo we have embarked on a new mission; Get the city heard.

Montreal has a stigma that we do not support our own and I have made it my personal goal and objective to change that. As a corporation we strive on being the best and exceeding people’s expectations. When people told us to leave Montreal and conduct our business in another city, we refused. Tru Kings believe that if we cannot make it in your own city, we do not want to make it anywhere else. We’re proud to be from Montreal. We have talent in this city and now there is an outlet to get it heard throughout the world.

Without the great help of Ken Ingram our business advisor, and my Tru Kings Team I wouldn’t have made it this far. We are now ready to embark on our quest of putting Montreal on the map. I am personally reaching out to entertainers from all generations to let you know that Tru Kings sees and believes in your talent and we want to get you seen and heard.
